Principal Product Manager

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for Zillow Workspace’s API and integration platform, encompassing APIs, webhooks, event infrastructure, and connector frameworks.

• Transform internal capabilities into scalable platform offerings for customers, partners, developers, and AI-driven workflows.

• Spearhead enterprise onboarding functionalities, including roster ingestion, identity and access provisioning, and bulk data workflows.

• Define the long-term commercialization strategy for the API platform, encompassing packaging, pricing, tiering, and go-to-market plans in collaboration with Sales and Business Development.

• Determine how Zillow can expand third-party connectors through internal development, partner contributions, and marketplace strategies.

• Establish the operating model for platform product management, which includes lifecycle governance, contract reviews, deprecation policies, support, and analytics.

• Set the vision for secure and extensible AI-powered experiences within Workspace.

• Mentor and influence product managers across the organization while representing the platform to enterprise customers and partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of product management or equivalent experience, emphasizing platforms, APIs, data systems, or complex integrations, with a proven history of developing scalable enterprise products.

• Demonstrated capability to lead cross-functional teams and execute technical or infrastructure-driven initiatives that enhance customer-facing outcomes.

• A solid systems thinker who can simplify intricate workflows and navigate technical trade-offs in collaboration with engineering teams.

• Analytical and inquisitive, with the ability to utilize data for hypothesis formation, effective prioritization, and informed decision-making.

• An exceptional communicator capable of producing clear documentation, strategy briefs, and stakeholder updates, while articulating a platform vision to senior leaders, customers, and partners.

• Comfortable operating in a dynamic, remote-first environment that demands high levels of autonomy and accountability.

• Experience with identity and access management and/or agent-facing or AI integration platforms is advantageous.
