This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Take ownership of the complete product lifecycle for Chirp Access Control, encompassing vision, roadmap, backlog prioritization, and delivery aligned with business and customer objectives.
• Convert operator and resident insights into clearly defined product requirements and compose PRDs that adhere to RealPage standards.
• Work collaboratively with Engineering, UX, and QA teams across a global organization to deliver high-quality features punctually.
• Establish and track product KPIs, including adoption, retention, support deflection, and client satisfaction, while driving data-informed iterations.
• Advocate for multifamily property managers, maintenance teams, and residents in discussions with internal stakeholders and during leadership reviews.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Channel teams on go-to-market messaging, training resources, and launch strategies.
• Assist in launching the Chirp Open API to broaden the reach of Chirp Access Control within the total addressable market and facilitate compatibility with Smart Building platforms.
• 4–6 years of product management experience, demonstrating growth as an individual contributor in a B2B SaaS environment.
• In-depth knowledge of access control hardware and credential ecosystems, including BLE, NFC, RFID, MDU readers, and cloud-based access management platforms.
• Proven experience in managing a product from inception to completion: strategy, roadmap, delivery, and post-launch refinement.
• Strong customer discovery abilities, including qualitative research through interviews and observation.
• Excellent documentation capabilities; proficient in creating BRDs, PRDs, and product specifications for engineering, design, sales, and implementation teams.
• Ability to work collaboratively across Smart Building Product and Engineering teams.
• Clear and persuasive communication skills for presenting roadmap justifications and trade-off decisions to senior leadership.
• Analytical mindset; capable of defining success metrics and utilizing data to validate product choices.
• Preferred: Experience in smart building, access control, IoT, or proptech, particularly in multifamily real estate.
• Preferred: Experience in evaluating and integrating technology partnerships or third-party solutions.
• Preferred: Background in multifamily property management software or related real estate technology.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Azure DevOps or similar backlog management tools.
• Preferred: Knowledge of AI tools and usability levels between AI Adaptor or AI Orchestrator.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred; an MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
