Principal Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of complex and ambiguous product challenges from the initial discovery phase through to delivery.

• Engage in zero-to-one discovery processes alongside SOC analysts, detection engineers, and threat hunters.

• Confirm customer issues prior to development and transform market insights into product initiatives.

• Collaborate daily with engineering and research teams to translate validated initiatives into epics with well-defined success criteria.

• Make informed scope tradeoffs to sustain velocity and ensure timely product delivery to customers.

• Deliver products that enhance security outcomes and bolster the security posture of customers.

• Influence future product initiatives through customer discovery processes.

• Guide customers towards hunt-first operations, moving away from SIEM-centric workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of cybersecurity.

• Experience in SOC, incident response, or threat research roles is advantageous.

• Strong product management capabilities.

• Proficiency in writing epics and user stories, as well as defining success criteria.

• Ability to work closely with R&D teams.

• Familiarity with product discovery and converting findings into actionable requirements.

• Proven history of delivering impactful products; this should not be your first PM role.

• Comfort with fast-paced and ambiguous environments.

• Skills to articulate detection logic, attacker methodologies, and hunting hypotheses.

• Capacity to impose structure on undefined problems.
