This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Serve as the most senior individual contributor in Product, collaborating across the company's key strategic initiatives to ensure they complement each other rather than conflict.
• Frame the most critical product decisions the company faces and assist the organization in making informed choices, particularly when the data is ambiguous.
• Collaborate with the VP of Product as a strategic advisor on the overall product direction of the company.
• Dive deep when necessary; influencing a crucial workflow, rigorously evaluating a team's strategy, or rethinking our approach to a challenge.
• Demonstrated success in driving quantifiable business results across various product domains, extending beyond merely delivering features.
• You have been the go-to person for leadership when challenges cross different areas.
• Experience in managing significant product turning points: repositioning, scaling, or redefining a value proposition; not just refining existing offerings.
• Proven ability to lead without formal authority: we seek someone who inspires others to follow naturally.
• Outstanding communication skills that adapt to various audiences: from engaging product vision narratives to clear and actionable plans for the teams executing the work.
• Strong analytical background combined with keen product and UX intuition: you won't accept "the numbers indicate it's fine" when the user experience feels off.
• Capability to operate with significant autonomy: comfortable making decisions, escalating the appropriate issues, and taking ownership of outcomes without close supervision.
• Must have: Experience with mobile-first consumer subscription or freemium products.
• Must have: Experience in a scaling startup environment, where you need to build and adapt simultaneously.
• Nice to have: Background in products targeting kids/family or dual-audience segments.
• Nice to have: Exposure to content partnerships, licensed intellectual property, or entertainment/gaming products.
• English proficiency is essential: As a multicultural team offering services in English, while certifications are not mandatory, fluency is critical.
• Career Growth: Your advancement is key to our success! We invest in your growth with up to €2,000 annually for books and training, enabling you to continue learning and evolving with us.
• Remote-Friendly: Work from wherever you are most effective, be it at home or in our Madrid offices, within a 2-hour time difference from Spain (GMT+1). The choice is yours!
• Stock Options: Your contributions are valuable! You'll receive stock options, allowing you to have a stake in the company and share in its success.
• Home Office Setup: Design your ideal workspace with a €400 allowance for setup and €35/month for remote work expenses, as comfort enhances creativity!
• Meal Allowances: Receive €60/month on your Cobee card for meals at restaurants or food delivery, because good food enhances everything!
• Flexible Compensation: Easily manage your meal, transport, and childcare expenses with Cobee, integrating them directly into your payroll.
• Health Insurance: Access private health coverage at exclusive rates through Adeslas, conveniently deducted from your payroll, ensuring quality care is simple.
• Language Lessons: Learning never stops! Enjoy complimentary language classes in Spanish and English to enhance your skills and stay connected within a global team.
• Visa Sponsorship: If you require a visa to work in the EU, we will manage the process and cover the costs to ensure a seamless transition.
• Company events: Absolutely! We are a fully remote team spread across various countries, but we love to gather occasionally in different locations in Spain for team events and to recharge at our fantastic off-sites!
