This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Establish the UX architecture for Presence across profiles, identity, business tools, community context, discovery, and new product surfaces.
• Transform company priorities into a long-term experience strategy, decision frameworks, and organized pathways towards the desired future state.
• Develop shared models, interaction patterns, navigation strategies, and experience principles applicable to various teams.
• Address overlaps, gaps, and conflicting methodologies among teams.
• Shape product direction and planning in collaboration with senior leaders in Product, Engineering, Research, Data Science, Content Design, and Design.
• Guide UX framing for critical ecosystem decisions and deliver recommendations, alternatives, risks, and success indicators to executives.
• Utilize AI-assisted design and coding tools to prototype ideas, test system behavior, uncover edge cases, and expedite strategic decision-making.
• Enhance quality in interaction design, information architecture, accessibility, trust, and system coherence.
• Provide mentorship to senior designers.
• 10–12+ years of product design experience, including leadership of platform-scale or ecosystem-level initiatives across various product areas in consumer technology.
• A portfolio showcasing Principal-level scope, product vision, systems architecture, interaction design, executive influence, end-to-end coherence, and measurable impact beyond a single team or launch.
• Experience in defining foundational product architecture, shared interaction models, or platform strategies that have been adopted by multiple teams.
• Capability to influence product priorities and executive decisions without direct authority.
• Proven track record of connecting long-term product vision to executable near-term launches, experiments, and organizational commitments.
• Expertise in interaction design and information architecture.
• Proficient in AI-assisted design and coding workflows.
• Strong comprehension of research, data, experimentation, accessibility, and technical constraints.
