This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Deliverability & Connectivity.
• Oversee Apollo’s messaging infrastructure layer, encompassing deliverability, mailbox connectivity, ESPs, marketing systems, diagnostics, and secure execution.
• Create product experiences that enable customers to connect systems, comprehend health metrics, diagnose issues, and confidently launch go-to-market strategies.
• Ensure safe-to-send and safe-to-scale experiences across various domains, mailboxes, ESPs, suppression rules, and sending paths.
• Make informed decisions on whether to build, partner, or integrate with ESPs, MAPs, CRMs, data platforms, routing systems, and workflow tools.
• Monitor metrics related to connection health, proper setups, send reliability, deliverability health, sync reliability, self-service resolutions, activation, retention, and customer outcomes.
• Foster cross-functional alignment among Product, Engineering, Design, GTM, Support, Data, and Enablement teams.
• Guide the long-term transformation of Apollo into a trusted execution layer for sales and marketing.
• Engage closely with customers, GTM teams, Support, and internal users to identify where trust falters across setup, connectivity, sending, syncing, suppression, and execution.
• Establish product strategy for how Apollo should integrate with existing systems customers utilize and assist them in executing GTM strategies safely and effectively.
• Rapidly prototype using tools like Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable, Figma AI, and other AI-native workflows to validate concepts before committing to investment.
• Simplify complex infrastructure into user-friendly experiences across SPF, DKIM, DMARC, DNS, OAuth, mailbox limits, ESP connectivity, suppression, bounce handling, and send safety.
• Lead decisions regarding build, partner, or integrate strategies across ESPs, MAPs, CRMs, data platforms, and workflow systems.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering on architecture, reliability, observability, APIs, data models, and edge cases, while remaining focused on customer and business outcomes.
• Work with Design to make trust explicit: indicating what is connected, healthy, risky, blocked, and the subsequent actions to take.
• Partner with GTM, Support, and Customer Success teams to alleviate avoidable customer pain and leverage reliability as a product advantage.
• Define the KPI tree and learning loop for the product area, and utilize it for prioritization, measurement, and iteration.
• Elevate product clarity by crafting clear strategy documents, PRDs, launch plans, and tradeoff memos that clarify the next best actions to take.
• Over 7 years of product management experience, with ownership of intricate product areas from strategy through to launch.
• An AI-native builder adept at using tools like Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable, Figma AI, or similar to prototype, validate, and expedite execution; able to showcase tangible results, not just specifications.
• Principal-level ownership of a significant product area with visibility at the company level.
• Strong product judgment; skilled at identifying high-leverage problems, making tough tradeoffs, and maintaining focus.
• A systems thinker capable of reasoning through mailboxes, domains, ESPs, MAPs, CRMs, suppression, consent, routing, workflows, and downstream execution.
• High agency; able to create clarity in ambiguous situations and propel work forward without waiting for ideal structure.
• Technical fluency in architecture, reliability, observability, APIs, data models, instrumentation, and edge cases.
• Customer empathy regarding where trust can break down for sales, marketing, RevOps, admins, and end users.
• Excellence in execution; defines, ships, measures, and iterates effectively without unnecessary disruption.
• Strong influence and communication skills; aligns teams, builds trust rapidly, and simplifies complex systems.
