Principal Pricing Strategist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement commercial pricing strategies that are in line with contract cost and pricing principles, with the objective of securing new and follow-on business opportunities.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure that pricing proposals align with strategic and financial objectives.

• Leverage a comprehensive understanding of commercial pricing strategies to create competitive pricing models.

• Conduct quality assurance reviews to verify that cost and price volume components are accurate and fulfill requirements.

• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in commercial real estate and facilities management.

• Support the identification and development of new business opportunities, as well as commercial procedures and policies.

• Serve as a mentor, guiding and coordinating other pricing staff members on larger, more complex proposals.

• Ensure adherence to company and external policies and procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; two (2) years of experience in contracts or pricing may be substituted for each year of the four (4) years of college.

• Twelve (12) years of experience in preparing cost proposals or developing cost proposals; relevant finance experience may be considered for some years instead of cost proposal preparation and development; 8 years of experience with a master’s degree.

• Specific experience in Commercial Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) is required.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong mathematical skills for comprehensive financial analysis.

• Capability to review and compose pricing narrative responses.

• Extensive experience with the components of Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
