Principal Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more locations.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of platform and cloud architecture

• Lead initiatives for cloud modernization

• Create a framework for reliability and operational excellence

• Identify and address systemic bottlenecks

• Provide technical guidance for architectures required for FedRAMP compliance

• Mentor senior engineers, technical leads, and rising technical leaders

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong proficiency across various technology stacks, including Java/J2EE, Oracle, Postgres, and contemporary frontend frameworks (React and Vue.js)

• Practical experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, and/or Azure

• Background in designing and managing distributed systems for B2B SaaS applications

• Experience in supporting FedRAMP and/or similar government cloud certification processes

• Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
