Principal Platform Architect – ServiceNow

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Serve as a Trusted Architectural Advisor for clients, establishing platform strategies that align ServiceNow capabilities with business goals.

• Design and uphold strategic platform roadmaps, focusing on capability adoption, value realization, and sustainability.

• Conduct architecture reviews and steer decisions concerning technical architecture, data strategy, integrations, governance, security, and AI adoption.

• Evaluate platform health and pinpoint technical risks, technical debt, optimization prospects, performance challenges, security issues, and enhancements in user experience.

• Suggest strategies for platform remediation and evolution.

• Influence executives and senior technology leaders in decisions related to the platform.

• Provide guidance to Enterprise Architects, Platform Owners, and technical teams.

• Mentor fellow architects and aid in the growth of the architecture community.

• Develop and disseminate frameworks, standards, best practices, and governance models.

• Assist in transformation initiatives utilizing AI and ServiceNow AI capabilities.

• Link technology investments to quantifiable business outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in enterprise architecture, platform architecture, consulting, or digital transformation.

• In-depth understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture.

• Familiarity with ServiceNow capabilities and applications, integrations, data models, enterprise architecture, and governance frameworks.

• Demonstrated experience in creating Platform Roadmaps and long-term technology strategies.

• Ability to convert business objectives into scalable, enterprise-wide technology strategies.

• Experience in advising CIOs, CTOs, VPs, Technology Directors, Enterprise Architects, and platform leaders.

• Strong background in Technical Governance, Platform Health Assessment, Risk Management, and Technical Debt Remediation.

• Experience in defining data architecture, integration strategy, and enterprise technology standards.

• Involvement with AI-enabled Transformation initiatives, particularly regarding ServiceNow AI capabilities.

• Excellent communication skills with executives, relationship management with stakeholders, and consulting abilities.

• Advanced/fluent English proficiency, capable of engaging in meetings, presentations, and technical and strategic discussions in a global context.

• Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certification, or currently pursuing advanced ServiceNow architecture certifications — preferred.

• Knowledge of various ServiceNow workflows/modules, such as ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD, SecOps, and GRC — preferred.

• Experience advising large enterprises on platform modernization and digital transformation endeavors — preferred.

• Strong business insight and familiarity with diverse market sectors — preferred.

• Capability to link technology investments to business outcomes and performance metrics — preferred.

• Experience in structuring governance frameworks — preferred.

• Experience in leading and developing other architects — preferred.

• Proven track record of enhancing architectural standards and excellence within large organizations — preferred.
