This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, and sustain pharmacy analytics assets, which encompass dashboards, data extracts, ongoing performance views, and executive-ready reporting products related to medication adherence, Part D quality, and cost trends.
• Convert pharmacy business requirements into verifiable analytic logic, including adherence calculations, drug hierarchy assumptions, and opportunity sizing.
• Examine multi-source data (PBM/Rx claims, medical claims, eligibility, clinical) to set baselines, identify trends, and reveal root causes of performance gaps in areas such as medication adherence and the adoption of 90-day prescriptions.
• Collaborate with Pharmacy, Clinical, Finance, and Operations stakeholders to prioritize impactful opportunities and translate analytic insights into targeted interventions and measurable performance enhancements.
• Automate and scale ongoing pharmacy reporting to minimize manual effort through scalable dashboards, reusable SQL, documented logic, and repeatable processes.
• Develop and oversee validation routines, QA checks, and reconciliation processes to guarantee that pharmacy reporting is accurate, reliable, reproducible, and ready for audit.
• Simplify complex pharmacy, PBM, and financial logic into straightforward, decision-ready performance narratives for non-technical stakeholders and health plan leadership.
• Act as a senior subject matter expert on Medicare Advantage pharmacy analytics, PBM/Rx claims data, Part D quality measures, and formulary concepts.
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Public Health, Pharmacy, Health Informatics, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be accepted.
• Over 7 years of experience in healthcare analytics, specifically with pharmacy claims analytics, PBM/Rx data, Medicare Part D, medication adherence, or pharmacy performance analytics.
• Proficient in writing complex SQL and extracting data from extensive, multi-layered health plan data environments.
• Experience in creating dashboards, recurring reports, or automated reporting processes using Tableau, Power BI, or similar business intelligence tools.
• Familiarity with PBM data, Medicare Part D operations, medication adherence metrics, pharmacy quality measures, or trends in drug costs/utilization.
• Capacity to translate pharmacy business inquiries into analytic rules, including member cohorts, adherence calculations, and stratification.
• Experience working with healthcare datasets such as PBM/Rx claims, medical claims, eligibility, or provider data.
• Proven ability to independently direct analyses, navigate ambiguity, structure intricate problems, and provide actionable insights with minimal guidance.
• Experience utilizing AI-enabled analytics, automation, or natural language tools to expedite insight generation.
• Excellent communication skills with the capability to articulate technical concepts and recommended actions to non-technical stakeholders.
• Advanced degree in Pharmacy, Public Health, Health Informatics, Analytics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (e.g., PharmD, MPH, MS Analytics, MBA).
