Principal, NetSuite Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary consultant for comprehensive NetSuite implementations from start to finish.

• Serve as the advocate for clients throughout the engagement process.

• Facilitate workshops for discovery and requirements gathering.

• Oversee process mapping, reengineering, and the design of future-state processes.

• Provide guidance to clients on standard functionalities, software capabilities, and industry best practices.

• Create functional system configurations and compose requirements and design documentation.

• Generate wireframes and schematic diagrams.

• Convert intricate business requirements and processes into technical designs.

• Conduct fit/gap analyses.

• Work collaboratively with technical teams to implement custom solutions.

• Manage scope, requirements, and project budget/allocation effectively.

• Lead configuration workshops and offline configuration tasks.

• Direct User Acceptance Testing and Systems Interface Testing.

• Organize end-user training and enablement strategies.

• Define the data migration strategy and oversee or execute migration activities.

• Offer support to clients post-go-live.

• Oversee all phases of NetSuite implementation: Plan, Design, Build, Verify, Deploy, and Support.

• Manage project activities, including status meetings, planning, work breakdown, and change control.

• Assist in attracting new clients and scoping new projects.

• Contribute to market strategies, knowledge management, and enablement efforts.

• Enhance NetSuite product knowledge as necessitated by engagements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Business, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.

• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in NetSuite configuration, consulting, or administration.

• Completed 8 or more full life cycle implementations.

• At least 4 implementations specific to warehousing or manufacturing.

• NetSuite Certifications are strongly preferred: ERP Consultant and Administrator.

• Excellent interpersonal communication, conflict resolution, and change management capabilities.

• Strong organizational, project management, and time management abilities.

• Proficient in managing interactions with clients and teams, communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Solid background in finance/accounting, supply chain, consulting services, and/or industry-specific experience.

• Capability to design comprehensive solutions utilizing SuiteCloud Platform tools: SuiteBuilder, SuiteFlow, SuiteScript, SuiteTalk.

• Extensive knowledge of data migration strategies and procedures.

• Practical experience in executing Go-Live cutover data loads.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a remote setting.

• Willingness to travel up to 30% for on-site client engagements as required.

• Advanced experience with NetSuite modules, experience in warehousing or manufacturing, expertise in Celigo/Boomi/FarApp, SuiteCloud Developer certification, CPA/audit experience, APICS, PMP, or CSM certifications are advantageous.
