Principal Managed Services Consultant

📋 Description

• Act as a pivotal technical authority within the Managed Services team.

• Report directly to the Managed Services Manager.

• Serve as a senior technical specialist for intricate enterprise Atlassian Cloud environments.

• Proactively recognize risks, recurring challenges, and opportunities to enhance platform stability, scalability, and user adoption.

• Provide hands-on assistance for complex client requirements while fostering sustainable, long-term solutions.

• Assist in defining the technical vision and standards of the Managed Services practice.

• Identify emerging or underutilized Atlassian Cloud features and transform them into repeatable client services.

• Create scalable offerings such as health checks, optimization services, and advanced analytics.

• Investigate how Atlassian Analytics, AI, and automation can elevate client experience and service delivery.

• Collaborate with global teams to expand successful practices and offerings across various regions.

• Mentor the Managed Services team and act as a technical reference for them.

• Partner with Sales, Delivery, and Transformation Consulting on strategic client engagements and transformation initiatives.

• Foster a proactive, consultative approach focused on delivering continuous value to clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–10+ years of experience in technical consulting, application support, platform operations, or related enterprise technology environments.

• Profound expertise in Atlassian Cloud.

• Strong grasp of the broader Atlassian ecosystem, including its architecture and best practices.

• Capability to design scalable and sustainable solutions.

• Ability to evaluate client environments, pinpoint areas for improvement, and propose enhancements to performance, governance, adoption, and scalability.

• Familiarity with Atlassian Analytics, AI, automation, and Cloud innovations.

• Competence to independently lead technical initiatives.

• Consultative mindset with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders in complex enterprise settings.

• Skill in sharing expertise and influencing technical direction.

• Ability to collaborate across functions, teams, and international regions.

• Fluency in German and English is essential.
