This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Daily engagement with data from the automotive sector.
• Work collaboratively with data science and engineering teams to establish and sustain model training and forecasting/prediction ETL pipelines, ensuring proper data mappings, anomaly detection, feature engineering, and data imputation strategies.
• Implement models and ETL pipelines within a reusable framework to produce predictions or forecasts for both existing and new products.
• Spearhead the development of monitoring pipelines and reporting for model and data drift.
• Effectively communicate complex technical topics to both non-technical and technical business stakeholders, product teams, and senior data science leadership, while requiring minimal feedback for documentation and presentations.
• Oversee quarterly planning for significant ML deployment initiatives with limited supervision.
• A minimum of 8 years of professional experience handling large datasets.
• At least 8 years of professional experience with statistical programming languages (preferably Spark, R, or Python).
• Over 10 years of professional experience with database technologies (including RedShift, Hive, SQL, and MYSQL).
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in deploying cloud-based automated analytical processes.
• At least 5 years of experience in deploying machine learning models with automated monitoring.
• Master’s Degree in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
