Manager, Engineering – ML Infrastructure & Tooling

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a product owner to realize the product vision and prioritize features. A proven ability to make difficult trade-offs is essential to balance scope, quality, supportability, performance, and time sensitivity.

• Lead the team through the design and implementation phases of intricate technical projects.

• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to guarantee that the product fulfills the quality and stability expectations of enterprise clients, utilizing experience in innovating and enhancing technology for performance, stability, and scalability.

• Oversee comprehensive product ownership, from planning and design to providing on-call product support. Address, resolve, and communicate issues that may arise during escalations or customer-related challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related Engineering discipline.

• Over 7 years of experience in software development, including more than 3 years in a leadership or management role.

• Experience managing teams that have developed machine learning cloud infrastructure and features through design, architecture, and development.

• Proficient in cloud infrastructure as well as infrastructure as code, database design, or SQL query optimization.

• Knowledge of machine learning models, including LLMs, Clustering, and Anomaly Detection.

• Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and strategies for achieving scalability and availability.

• Basic knowledge of threat detection, intrusion prevention, and incident response strategies.

• Familiarity with the software development life cycle using agile methodologies.

• Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.
