This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the daily delivery for your designated client group, ensuring the provision of high-quality legal services, an exceptional client experience, adherence to deadlines, and consistent execution.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage complex NDAs and related transaction documents in the realms of private equity, M&A, and financing transactions.
• Serve as the senior escalation point for challenging legal, commercial, client, counterparty, or workflow issues, identifying, addressing, and developing high-quality solutions.
• Supervise and evaluate the work output of junior, specialist, and senior team members, ensuring quality, consistency, legal integrity, and readiness for client distribution.
• Lead, approve, review, and enhance client playbooks, templates, and precedents, ensuring alignment with internal guidelines, format, and structure.
• Act as the primary account lead and "responsible person" for assigned clients, taking ownership of each account's overall health.
• Be accessible and on call for clients, conducting regular check-ins, negotiation calls, and quarterly business reviews (QBRs) to evaluate platform usage, service performance, and account direction.
• Monitor customer health across assigned accounts, proactively identifying potential risks to satisfaction, retention, or renewal, and taking early action to mitigate them.
• Assume responsibility for client complaints and issues from start to finish, drafting competent responses and driving them through to resolution.
• Assist in customer outreach and account growth, identifying opportunities to enhance or deepen relationships — including onboarding additional document types, new workflows, or scope changes — in collaboration with the Account Manager.
• Provide coaching, feedback, mentoring, and training to team members, recognizing development needs and creating and delivering targeted training programs.
• Track capacity, workload distribution, SLA performance, and service quality across your assigned group, escalating resourcing or performance issues as needed.
• Participate in hiring, interviewing, onboarding, performance calibration, and discussions regarding progression.
• Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery, legal technology adoption, workflow design, and the scalability of managed services.
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of internal processes and the delivery of workflows.
• Law degree (LLB or equivalent).
• Demonstrated experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating core transactional or commercial documents, such as confidentiality agreements, engagement letters, and release letters.
• Proven client-facing experience, including direct management of client relationships, client calls, and resolving client issues or complaints.
• Substantial experience supervising, mentoring, or indirectly managing legal team members and assessing their work output.
• A genuine combination of legal expertise and commercial insight — both technically proficient in legal practice and commercially savvy in managing client relationships.
• Exceptional written and verbal English skills, with the ability to clearly explain legal concepts to lawyers, non-lawyers, clients, and senior stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering consistently high-quality work.
