Principal IT Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Accountable for ensuring the architectural effectiveness of data-centric initiatives within the organization.

• Aligns the architecture of the enterprise data platform with both business and technology strategies and roadmaps, effectively communicating with stakeholders at various levels.

• Develops and establishes a technical strategy, along with standards, roadmaps, and guidelines within the data platform architecture domain, in collaboration with other architects.

• Identifies and spearheads the selection and implementation of data platforms to support Modern Data Architecture and various end-use cases.

• Works collaboratively to educate and mentor architects and technical leaders on modern data architecture practices, while partnering with business and IT teams to define transitional and target state data architectures; collaborates with the enterprise architecture and information management teams to ensure comprehensive, enterprise-wide value delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience is required, with a master's degree preferred.

• Generally requires a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.

• Strong technical proficiency is essential.

• Experience in process management.

• Adept at problem-solving.

• Diverse experience in implementing all facets of Data Management, including Data/Big Data, Data Quality, Data Modeling, Data Governance, Data Integration/ETL, Metadata Management, and Data Security.

• Demonstrated success in planning, influencing, and leading initiatives across engineering and business sectors.

• Proficient in SQL, with skills in performance optimization, critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication.
