This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, test, iterate, and deploy secure production systems across both cloud-native and edge appliance deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide guidance on infrastructure, security, and deployment best practices suitable for production environments.
• Take ownership of end-to-end infrastructure results for one or more critical programs or high-priority infrastructure initiatives.
• Strengthen the artifact pipeline to ensure that the same signed builds operate in cloud environments, single-tenant high-side setups, and air-gapped appliance deployments.
• Over 8 years of experience managing production infrastructure in DevOps/DevSecOps, Platform, SRE, Cloud, or similar roles.
• Full-stack engineering expertise as needed, including hands-on experience designing, building, and operating services using modern backend languages (e.g., Go, Python, Rust, TypeScript).
• Extensive production experience with Kubernetes, including operators, networking, storage, multi-cluster operations, and an understanding of scaling challenges.
• Proficiency with major cloud service providers (e.g., Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure), along with a strong aptitude for designing across various providers and profiles.
• Solid knowledge of application and infrastructure security principles: identity management, network segmentation, secrets management, common vulnerability types, and the ability to exercise sound security judgment in uncertain situations.
• Proven capability to develop functional solutions from the ground up, connect various applications, and contribute effectively to existing codebases.
• Experience in packaging and deploying workloads in disconnected or air-gapped settings.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentorship abilities.
