This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Implements the enterprise-wide Incident Response Plan while suggesting improvements to enhance security.
• Collaborates with various business units to achieve comprehensive remediation across the organization.
• Creates and presents reports to the senior leadership team.
• Remains informed about security breaches and ensures the initiation of incident and response management processes.
• Establishes security service audit schedules, reviews access authorizations, and conducts access controls testing.
• Works in partnership with Information Security Architects and stakeholders in software or hardware.
• Integrates third-party attack monitoring services into internal Cyber Incident Response Team (CIRT) communication systems.
• A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business discipline (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science).
• 6 to 8 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with the tools, techniques, and processes (TTP) utilized by threat actors.
• Understanding of Indicators of Compromise (IOC).
• Experience with endpoint protection and enterprise detection & response software (e.g., CrowdStrike or Carbon Black).
• Knowledge of network and infrastructure technologies, including routers, switches, firewalls, etc.
