This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Analyze, design, and create custom reports, dashboards, and surveys as necessary using the standard reporting functionalities of Workday (Report Writer, Calculated Fields, BIRT).
• Identify potential areas for automation and globalization, delivering high-quality analytics, reports, surveys, and dashboards for our leadership teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications, and design, develop, test, and implement solutions in production.
• Oversee the Workday upgrade process and any changes that arise.
• Assist in maintaining and supporting the Workday security framework for the organization, seeking opportunities to optimize security roles and role assignments.
• Partner with project teams on various Workday implementation and optimization initiatives.
• Document and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for both existing and new processes.
• Assess and refresh the Workday reporting catalog to fulfill business requirements, establishing a program that enhances reporting and analytics capabilities within the HR team.
• Support audit and compliance efforts while troubleshooting system and data-related issues.
• Seek opportunities to optimize and streamline processes, collaborating with HR leaders to implement necessary changes.
• Provide global support for business and reporting analytics on Workday technology-related matters on a day-to-day basis.
• Assist with escalated inquiries concerning data, reporting, and dashboards.
• Train users on Workday reporting functionalities and the reports available.
• Troubleshoot product configurations to resolve issues or offer optimal configurations that meet customer business requirements.
• Aid in developing a reporting governance structure, including naming conventions and tagging.
• Participate in acquisitions to integrate new companies from a technological perspective.
• Develop a comprehensive library of test scenarios for rollout of new processes or features.
• Advise stakeholders on industry best practices.
• Collaborate with integration and cross-functional teams to address integration and data challenges.
• Work closely within the team to establish new processes when dependencies arise across multiple Workday modules.
• Create and update One Point Lessons (OPL) that can serve as reference documents for initiating tasks or processes.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, HR, IT, or Business.
• A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with Workday reporting tools and modules, including advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, calculated fields, and configuration experience (mandatory).
• At least 5 years of professional experience working with data, reporting, and analytics.
• Capability to develop and implement comprehensive reporting strategies that align with business objectives and meet regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in analyzing complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights, and translating these into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
• Experience managing reporting projects from inception to completion, including gathering requirements, planning, executing, and documenting processes.
• Exceptional analytical and technical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Understanding of human resources processes and best practices.
• Ability to uphold confidentiality and maintain data accuracy when managing employee information.
