This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Take ownership of the comprehensive organic discovery strategy to guarantee our domains achieve high rankings for brand, category, and competitor keywords across traditional SERPs and large language model platforms.
• Create actionable plans that consistently enhance our brand/domain authority and relevance to ensure elevated organic visibility and growth rates in comparison to competitors.
• Perform continuous analysis of top-ranking content and LLM-generated citations within our category and across algorithms to identify trends, gaps, and sentiment.
• Maintain an advanced understanding of how search engines and AI models retrieve information. Optimize site structures, schema, and API feeds to maximize legibility for search and LLM web crawlers.
• Collaborate effectively with our technical team to ensure a consistently high user experience as measured by Core Web Vitals and EEAT.
• Transform strategic concepts into written, actionable plans and effectively collaborate with in-house teams to deliver high-quality results at a rapid pace.
• Analyze successful formulas for each platform and contribute strategies to secure top placements on high-intent social platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Reddit).
• Design and conduct robust experiments to evaluate optimization strategies (e.g., content formatting, entity relationship linking, structured data) and swiftly adapt based on performance outcomes.
• Establish success benchmarks and progressive milestones to achieve objectives.
• Over 10 years of SEO/Organic Growth experience in highly competitive, high-volume markets, with a proven emphasis on AEO/AI optimization in recent years.
• Demonstrated success in consistently driving double-digit lead growth and enhancing digital brand authority through organic channels.
• Strong technical knowledge of search algorithms, Knowledge Graphs, Core Web Vitals optimization, and scraping signals across major search and LLM platforms.
• Exceptional cross-functional executor capable of managing engineering and content pipelines to achieve rapid results.
• Analytical mindset with experience utilizing internal BI tools alongside third-party SEO and emerging AI attribution software.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate complex search technicalities into clear business implications for executive audiences.
• Excellent executive presentation skills.
• Nice to have: Experience in Social Search (optimizing for discovery on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram).
