This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Assume full responsibility for the primary gameplay experience, focusing intently on the interactions, pacing, and the essential "fun" element of the game.
• Design and refine core action loops (such as combat, shooting, or driving mechanics), with a strong emphasis on timing, collision detection, and player feedback.
• Address the most intricate gameplay engineering challenges.
• Lead technical prototyping for innovative core mechanics, ensuring the right game feel before expanding further.
• Propose and execute significant features within the team, breaking them down into manageable components.
• Manage the balancing of core game mechanics.
• Always support your concepts with relevant data points.
• Be capable of deconstructing and analyzing the mechanics of mobile games.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Game Designer, with a strong preference for those with a level design background.
• Proven experience in the mobile gaming sector.
• A sense of accountability, independence, and responsibility when entrusted with your work.
• Strong understanding of game feel and pacing, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficient communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Eager to discover new methods to execute your tasks more efficiently and to pursue personal improvement daily.
