Principal Full Stack Engineer – Sports Travel & Ticketing Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee the ongoing development of OleOleSport.com, our user-oriented commerce platform.

• Emphasize the creation and expansion of the essential systems that facilitate ticket sales, hospitality packages, supporter travel, memberships, event experiences, and future commerce projects.

• Collaborate closely with company leadership, as well as product, design, and engineering teams to influence both the technical architecture and product direction of the platform as we grow internationally.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7–10 years of professional experience in software engineering focused on building and maintaining production web applications.

• Demonstrated experience in developing consumer-facing platforms in one or more of the following sectors: travel, hospitality, ticketing, events, e-commerce, marketplaces, loyalty programs, or online booking systems.

• Strong full-stack development skills utilizing modern web technologies, including frontend frameworks, backend services, APIs, and relational databases.

• Experience in designing and implementing high-volume transactional systems that involve search, bookings, reservations, payments, checkout processes, customer accounts, or order management.

• Familiarity with integrating third-party APIs, such as payment gateways, travel suppliers, ticketing systems, CRM platforms, marketing platforms, analytics tools, and other commercial services.

• Deep understanding of best practices related to website performance, scalability, reliability, security, and customer experience.

• Experience in building responsive web applications that are optimized for both desktop and mobile users.

• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, and production support.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to work independently in a dynamic startup environment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
