Principal, Evidence & Strategy – RWE/Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Exhibits exceptional consulting skills, enhancing client relationships and proactively addressing client needs in light of changes in the healthcare landscape.

• Assist in acquiring new clients and expanding business with current clients.

• Oversee multiple clients and manage both short- and long-term deliverables to ensure Avalere’s expertise is readily available to satisfy client requirements.

• Lead and implement quantitative research and claims analysis projects, which include developing protocols and evaluation plans, programming in analytical software, managing strategic and tactical projects, and preparing and presenting findings through manuscripts, posters, and presentations.

• Formally and informally present research findings to a diverse audience of stakeholders.

• Develop and manage a variety of projects, such as writing RFPs, selecting vendors, and overseeing project management, including budgeting and timelines.

• Skilled in quantitative and mixed-methods research, as well as crafting strategic plans, studies, and analyses that support patient access and value-based outcomes within a complex team environment.

• Create integrated real-world evidence (RWE) generation and communication plans in close collaboration with colleagues across Avalere and Avalere Health.

⛳️ Requirements

• A graduate degree in a health-related field, such as health policy, public policy, healthcare management, public health, health economics, epidemiology, business administration, or a relevant discipline.

• A combination of a bachelor's degree and extensive relevant work experience is also acceptable.

• Experience in generating real-world evidence (both qualitative and quantitative) to support value assessments and inform clinical treatment guidelines, formulary management, and other critical aspects of clients’ products.

• Capable of translating intricate research into understandable and actionable insights.

• Demonstrated situational leadership capabilities and the ability to inspire and engage individuals at all organizational levels.

• Dedicated to working in a collaborative team environment while fostering positive relationships with colleagues and clients.

• Strong communication abilities (both written and verbal), including the capacity to succinctly explain complex concepts to executives both within and outside the firm.

• Experience in formative research, encompassing the development of research questions, creation of data collection tools, and execution of studies.

• Over 10 years of relevant work experience, ideally in healthcare consultancy, but experience may also include roles at healthcare provider organizations, pharmaceutical or diagnostic companies, digital health firms, or healthcare-focused research institutions.

• Proficient in programming and skilled in utilizing claims and multi-source datasets.
