This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Accountable for the design and governance of information systems that align with the Bank’s enterprise architecture.
• Assesses and comprehends client and user requirements to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Reviews technology and related operational processes, suggesting designs that improve performance, efficiency, and reliability.
• Designs and develops IT technical infrastructure, including hardware, software, network resources, security, and services.
• Delivers comprehensive design requirements that ensure compliance with security and policy standards.
• Collaborates with IT leadership on technical projects, guiding decisions and developing solutions.
• Works closely with IT to execute technology initiatives within the Reference Architecture framework.
• Facilitates communication between individual contributors and leaders in the IT department.
• Contributes to and advances the Bank's technology and security architecture program.
• Engages in research on emerging technologies and remediation techniques, overseeing their implementation.
• Aids in conducting risk assessments to measure control effectiveness.
• Provides technical assistance to regulatory bodies and auditors.
• Involved in governance activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technology field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Over two years of experience in three distinct technology areas, including but not limited to IaaS, PaaS, ERPs, hosting, Data Centers, etc.
• At least eight years of IT work experience pertinent to the role.
• Must be driven by outcomes and focused on customer satisfaction, with familiarity in agile and lean methodologies, including Six Sigma.
• Capable of leading leaders, teams, and staff through substantial changes with influence, humility, empathy, and teamwork.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative environment.
• Strong understanding and extensive experience in architecting across various technology disciplines.
• Good grasp of IT architecture best practices.
• Knowledge of modern software development, cloud hosting, integrations, microservices, tools, and infrastructure technologies.
• Proficiency in multiple technical and/or functional domains relevant to the role.
