This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
• Take ownership of and manage CHG's business architecture artifacts, which encompass capability models, value stream maps, and domain decompositions.
• Recognize high-value opportunities for AI and machine learning capabilities across CHG's business sectors and define the architectural patterns that enable them.
• Develop Target State Architectures and create roadmaps for various business domains.
• Implement governance frameworks to ensure the accomplishment of business objectives.
• Collaborate with business and product leaders to convert strategic visions into structured architecture artifacts.
• Oversee architecture reviews for major initiatives, providing guidance on capability alignment, process implications, and domain boundaries.
• Conduct capability gap and redundancy assessments across CHG's brand portfolio.
• Generate business cases for platform consolidation and prioritize investments.
• Assist in vendor evaluation processes, conducting research and providing insights on competitive advantages.
• Report directly to the VP, Head of Enterprise Architecture.
• More than 15 years of experience in business architecture, enterprise architecture, or a closely related discipline in strategy and technology.
• A master's or bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related area, or equivalent professional experience.
• In-depth knowledge of business architecture methodologies, including capability modeling, value stream mapping, and domain decomposition.
• Practical experience in delivering business architecture artifacts.
• Proficiency in Information Security, Cloud, Data, and Integration Architecture.
• Experience with the integration of SaaS solutions utilizing secure data and integration patterns and standards.
• A solid understanding of AI and machine learning principles for designing business capabilities.
• Experience in identifying AI use cases and architecting AI-enabled processes.
• Capacity to take ownership of a domain, promote standards adoption, and influence others without direct authority within a matrixed, multi-brand organization.
• Excellent facilitation skills and the ability to lead workshops with senior stakeholders.
• Competence with architecture modeling tools such as LeanIX, Ardoq, or Sparx EA.
• Familiarity with TOGAF or ArchiMate frameworks.
