This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Oversee the architecture, modernization, and containerization of enterprise applications and integration platforms.
• Create and implement scalable cloud-native solutions utilizing Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Lead the migration of outdated Oracle middleware and enterprise content systems to contemporary open-source and cloud-native technologies.
• Establish enterprise integration architecture, messaging solutions, and network layer designs using Apache Camel, JMS, and ActiveMQ.
• Develop and deploy secure container platforms using OpenShift Service Mesh, Pipelines, GitOps, and Operators.
• Implement DevSecOps best practices by integrating security automation and CI/CD pipelines into the software delivery lifecycle.
• Design and execute observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, and Dynatrace to ensure platform reliability.
• Produce High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation and offer technical guidance to engineering teams.
• Ensure adherence to enterprise security standards and regulatory requirements for on-premises container environments.
• Assess and deploy enterprise API management solutions like Apigee, Kong, or WSO2 when applicable.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and business leaders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise solutions.
• Remain informed about emerging technologies and best practices in cloud-native architecture, container platforms, enterprise integration, and DevSecOps.
• Total experience: 9+ years.
• Extensive hands-on experience in designing and implementing Microservices Architecture using Spring Boot and Spring Batch.
• Must possess expertise in Red Hat OpenShift, including cluster architecture, administration, Service Mesh, Pipelines, GitOps, and deployment strategies.
• Significant experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Practical knowledge of Apache Camel, JMS, and messaging platforms such as ActiveMQ.
• Experience transitioning legacy Oracle middleware and enterprise content management systems to cloud-native and open-source platforms.
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration architecture, network layer design, and integration patterns.
• Familiarity with service mesh technologies like Istio.
• Direct experience implementing DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and security automation.
• Proficiency with observability and monitoring tools including Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, and Dynatrace.
• Knowledge of S3-compatible object storage and large-scale data migration.
• Robust experience in creating High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), and influencing architectural decisions.
• Experience in designing secure on-premises container platforms and executing enterprise security architecture.
• Preferred certifications in Kubernetes, OpenShift, Cloud Architecture, or DevSecOps.
• Preferred experience with enterprise API gateways such as Apigee, Kong, or WSO2.
• Experience in regulated industries with strict security and compliance requirements.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
