This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Assist in enterprise architecture initiatives throughout M&A integration programs.
• Evaluate the current state of business applications, integrations, infrastructure, data, and technology landscapes within acquired entities.
• Document application portfolios, technology inventories, application interdependencies, integration points, and architectural risks.
• Establish target-state architectures and create actionable M&A integration roadmaps.
• Conduct application rationalization analysis to uncover opportunities for consolidation, migration, coexistence, replacement, and retirement.
• Align business capabilities with supporting applications while identifying gaps, overlaps, dependencies, and integration priorities.
• Assist with Day 1, TSA Exit, and Long-Term Integration planning activities.
• Analyze high-level integration requirements among enterprise platforms like ERP, CRM, HR, PLM, and other business applications.
• Lead architecture workshops involving business, IT, cybersecurity, infrastructure, data, and application stakeholders.
• Generate executive-level architecture assessments, recommendation documents, roadmap materials, and decision-making documents.
• Create, maintain, and oversee architecture artifacts such as application landscapes, capability maps, integration diagrams, technology inventories, target-state architectures, and Architecture Decision Records.
• Update and manage enterprise architecture information within tools like Ardoq, LeanIX, Bizzdesign, or similar repositories.
• Identify integration risks, technical debt, architectural gaps, dependencies, and operational impacts.
• Assess technology and application options based on business value, risk, dependencies, and M&A integration demands.
• Review solution designs and implementation plans for coherence with enterprise architecture principles and target-state architecture.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, data, application, and business teams to create integrated architecture solutions.
• Partner with project teams and external collaborators to ensure the effective execution of M&A integration initiatives.
• Provide unbiased architectural guidance to stakeholders, balancing strategic vision with practical delivery needs.
• Support stakeholders across the UK/EU, APAC, and North America, with flexibility for occasional early or late meetings.
• Travel to the UK/EU as necessary for architecture workshops and stakeholder interactions.
• Total experience of 11+ years, with a robust background in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Application Architecture.
• Essential experience in Enterprise Architecture supporting Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) integration programs.
• M&A integration experience is required, including acquisition integration, post-merger integration, divestiture, or similar transformational programs.
• Extensive experience in evaluating current-state business applications, technology, integration, infrastructure, and data landscapes.
• Significant experience in defining target-state architecture, integration roadmaps, application rationalization, consolidation, migration, coexistence, and retirement strategies.
• Strong understanding of enterprise application landscapes, including ERP, CRM, HR, PLM, SaaS, cloud, and on-premises platforms.
• Comprehensive understanding of high-level integration architecture, including APIs, middleware, event-driven architecture, and file-based integrations.
• Experience with business capability mapping, application dependency mapping, technology landscapes, architecture risks, and integration priorities.
• Proven experience supporting Day 1, TSA Exit, and Long-Term M&A Integration activities.
• Extensive experience in creating architecture artifacts such as application portfolios, integration diagrams, capability maps, technology inventories, target-state architectures, roadmaps, and Architecture Decision Records.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture tools like Ardoq, LeanIX, Bizzdesign, or similar is preferred.
• Experience in defining architectures across SaaS, cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
• Exposure to Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF is preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and architecture workshop facilitation skills.
• Ability to produce clear, concise, and executive-ready architecture assessments, recommendations, and roadmaps.
• Experience collaborating with global stakeholders across the UK/EU, APAC, and North America.
• Willingness to travel to the UK/EU for brief architecture workshops.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and collaborative skills.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
