DevSecOps IT Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Showcase and apply contemporary security solutions in client projects.

• Establish security protocols and tools within cloud environments, particularly in Kubernetes settings.

• Create and uphold custom API scripts in Python to enhance the automation and management of security tools.

• Assist clients in short-term implementation initiatives while offering long-term support for inquiries.

• Work collaboratively within a dedicated five-member security team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in areas such as DevSecOps, Cloud Security, or IT Security Consulting.

• Proficient knowledge of Kubernetes (Certified Kubernetes Administrator/CKA required), Linux, Git/GitOps, Terraform, Python, Helm, along with security principles and best practices.

• Fluent to native proficiency in German (C1/C2).

• Proficient in English at a minimum B2 level.

• Certification as a Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Aqua Security, AWS, Azure, or CNAPP solutions is a plus.

• Understanding of BSI IT-Grundschutz or other compliance frameworks is beneficial.
