Principal Engineer – Enovia Platform Admin

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Oversee the installation, configuration, and upkeep of Enovia 3DEXPERIENCE platform components (3DSpace, 3DPassport) across DEV, QA, and PROD environments.

• Establish standards for scalable and secure platform solutions.

• Monitor and enhance system performance to guarantee high reliability.

• Collaborate with Infrastructure and Operations teams to manage system upgrades, patches, and hotfixes.

• Ensure successful database and server snapshots/backup and recovery processes in partnership with DBA, Infrastructure, and Operations teams.

• Play a role in developing disaster recovery strategies along with conducting disaster recovery tabletop exercises and tests.

• Ensure adherence to cybersecurity policies and lead security audits for PLM systems.

• Automate platform administration tasks utilizing scripting and configuration management tools.

• Create automation scripts using MQL, TCL, Bash, and PowerShell for system operations and optimization.

• Execute administrative tasks through scripting (batch/cron jobs, migration scripts, configuration updates).

• Diagnose complex platform-related issues and provide root cause analysis.

• Document system architectures, configurations, procedures, and operational guidelines.

• Mentor junior engineers and engage in platform planning and continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Over 5 years of direct experience in administering and supporting Enovia/3DEXPERIENCE environments.

• Familiarity with Enovia/3DEXPERIENCE architecture and deployment models.

• Knowledge of Dassault best practices.

• Proficiency in Linux and Windows Server system administration as well as shell scripting.

• Experience with platform patching, upgrades, change, and release management.

• Background in supporting and managing application servers (TomEE, IIS).

• Experience with ENOVIA integration middleware platforms such as TECHNIA Integration Framework (TIF) and related integrations with ERP, MES, PowerBI, and other platforms.

• Proficient in Oracle and MSSQL.

• Understanding of JVM tuning, memory management, and application performance optimization.

• Knowledge of SSL/TLS, certificates, networking, firewalls, and load balancing.
