Director, Platform & Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Lead and expand a distributed platform and infrastructure organization, remaining directly involved with the team when challenges arise.

• Spearhead initiatives for infrastructure modernization and cloud migration, focusing on the transition of services to managed cloud solutions.

• Take ownership of reliability, deployment, and disaster recovery practices within the organization’s core environments.

• Establish engineering standards for infrastructure automation, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and operational resilience.

• Collaborate with engineering and senior leadership to convert platform strategy into actionable roadmaps.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in leading technical or engineering teams.

• Strong practical experience with a major cloud provider and contemporary infrastructure practices.

• Proven history of leading and developing teams, especially during incidents and high-pressure situations.

• Experience in a product-driven technology environment.

• Ability to lead distributed, cross-regional teams effectively.

• A straightforward, people-oriented leadership approach that emphasizes team development and hands-on support.
