• Serve as the primary contact for all quality-related communications with customers, including handling quality complaints.
• Act as the customer's representative to the internal team, driving solutions for customer issues and providing timely updates.
• Facilitate discussions related to quality with customers, focusing on issue resolution and quality assessments.
• Develop and implement global standards for customer quality.
• Gather customer-specific requirements and assist in the review, approval, and execution of these requirements within product, manufacturing, and operational contexts.
• Oversee Product Change Notifications (PCN) to align with customer specifications and ensure prompt implementation.
• Collaborate with factories to coordinate and manage customer audits to verify compliance with Quality Management Systems and standards such as ISO, IATF, and VDA.
• Contribute to business reviews and new business initiatives while playing a role in product lifecycle management decisions.
• Create and deliver quality performance reports during internal management reviews.
• Spearhead the formulation and execution of Quality Improvement Plans (QIPs) to promote ongoing enhancements in customer quality metrics, including product quality, service responsiveness, and tailored customer requirements.
• Assist with customer product inquiries related to both current offerings and new product possibilities.
• Over 10 years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing, or Engineering within the semiconductor sector.
• Proficient in semiconductor manufacturing principles and processes, particularly in failure analysis and reliability.
• Familiarity with intricate electrical or mechanical assemblies.
• Understanding of quality management systems such as ISO9000, IATF16949 / VDA, ISO13485; experience with audits in automotive or medical standards is advantageous.
• Skilled in 8D problem-solving, requirements management, and change management methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Experience in a global manufacturing setting is preferred, with insights into operations, planning, and logistics.
• Knowledgeable in executing safe launch procedures and managing product/process transfer activities.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with all organizational levels.
• Team-oriented and responsive.
