Principal Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.

📋 Description

• Act as the operational partner to the CTO, translating technical vision into actionable execution plans, prioritizing sprints, and assigning team tasks.

• Take responsibility for initiatives from the CTO, managing them from start to finish while utilizing AI-assisted development.

• Oversee, review, and ensure quality of work produced by contract developers and external vendors.

• Establish and uphold review processes and standards for AI-generated outputs to guarantee high-quality results.

• Create documentation for systems, processes, and technical insights to maintain organizational knowledge.

• Play a key role in the transition away from Salesforce by aiding in the design, construction, and validation of new systems.

• Collaborate with the legacy development team to facilitate the shift towards AI-first development practices.

• Ensure that the internal platform and application comply with healthcare data privacy and security regulations throughout the migration process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline—or equivalent experience.

• A proven history of owning and delivering production systems from start to finish in a hands-on engineering role.

• Experience in dynamic, high-autonomy settings with minimal structure or resources.

• Background in managing or collaborating with contractors, vendors, or remote teams.

• Familiarity with healthcare environments, including HIPAA, PHI, and BAA considerations, or the ability to quickly adapt to regulated sectors (preferred).
