Principal Cybersecurity Analyst

📋 Description

• Deliver prompt, senior-level security advice, mentor junior analysts, and shape risk-mitigation strategies across various functions.

• Spearhead the execution of technical control frameworks for programs aimed at reducing risks while facilitating the certification and accreditation of systems.

• Create, update, and manage the complete policy lifecycle – drafting, maintaining, and programmatically implementing procedures; leverage AI for ongoing enhancements.

• Actively track U.S. government cyber regulations, distill insights from conferences and industry events, and provide concise briefs to internal stakeholders.

• Represent GCP in cross-departmental committees, ensuring security aligns with NG’s strategic goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Political Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline with 5 years of experience; OR a Master’s degree with 3 years of experience; OR a PhD with 1 year of experience.

• Proficient understanding of CMMC v2 (Levels 1-3), NIST 800-171/800-172 (All revisions), NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and DoD frameworks.

• Experience in presenting to Executive Leadership with the capability to effectively translate technical findings into clear policy recommendations.

• CMMC Certified Professional (CCP) and/or equivalent to 8140 certification.
