• Analyze, investigate, document, and report on security alerts or potential security incidents detected in customer environments.
• Process security investigation cases thoroughly and in a timely manner.
• Act as an incident coordinator for security events that necessitate urgent response, containment, and remediation.
• Create detailed investigative notes for all security alerts and incidents.
• Provide ongoing feedback regarding security process enhancements and customer satisfaction.
• Keep abreast of security training, certification, and emerging threats.
• Make appropriate escalations for security investigations when necessary.
• Ensure the completion and effective communication of shift-change documentation.
• Adhere to all available SOPs and escalation communication matrices.
• Offer customers meaningful and constructive security consultation during external communications.
• 0-3 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment.
• Basic understanding of query languages.
• General knowledge of programming language operations.
• Experience or education in System Networking.
• Working knowledge and experience with Office 365.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and reside within the United States or its Territories.
