This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Offer clinical expertise to TAVR implanting centers, which includes participating in TAVI implant procedures to assist in loading valves onto delivery catheters and providing technical support in line with the instructions for use, trial protocols, and best practices to ensure procedural consistency and optimal clinical outcomes.

• Assist in educational and training initiatives for physicians, hospital support staff, and Medtronic personnel.

• Remain updated on and relay clinical data related to Medtronic products and TAVR therapy.

• Deliver high-quality technical support to help sites achieve successful procedures.

• Provide technical leadership during TAVR device procedures.

• Educate implanting teams on appropriate indications for TAVR procedures.

• Address inquiries regarding device suitability, leveraging skills in measurement and CT reconstruction.

• Offer extensive technical support, encompassing knowledge of imaging modalities (echo/angiography/CT), EKG, blood pressure, waveforms, and other ancillary procedural solutions.

• Collaborate with R&D to drive technology improvements and next-generation requirements.

• Supervise local educational and training programs, including coordinating and setting up procedure simulators, facilitating simulated TAVI procedures, troubleshooting, and managing staff in-services covering pre/peri/post TAVI procedures.

• Educate on the safe and effective use of Medtronic products.

• Train hospital staff on proper valve loading techniques.

• Support district sales strategies in partnership with sales representatives and managers to fulfill business objectives within the CBT business unit and broader CVG organization.

• Contribute to fostering a strong team dynamic.

• Ensure comprehensive technical and customer support in the territory to uphold superior customer service standards and effective time management.

• Assist in managing customer inventory orders, shelf stock, and returns.

• Build, establish, and maintain productive working relationships with key decision-makers, customers and their staff, and administrative personnel.

• Drive and sustain quality initiatives and global best practices.

• Uphold high standards of personal presentation while promoting a professional image for both oneself and the company.


⛳️ Requirements

• A High School Diploma with at least 11+ years of experience, or an Associate’s Degree with 9+ years, or a Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of clinical or sales experience in interventional cardiology, vascular, or surgical products, including a minimum of 3 years in an industry context.

• An Associate’s Degree in engineering, nursing, or a related scientific field.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in business or science is preferred.

• Experience with wires, balloons, catheters, and stents.

• Exceptional understanding of cardiac and vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology.

• Proven experience in communicating product market advantages to physicians and hospital administration.

• Experience managing multiple accounts effectively.

• Background in teaching and educating medical personnel, peers, and technical support staff.

• Imaging interpretation experience, including TTE or Trans Esophageal Echocardiography (TEE), CT, and Angiograms.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Strong influencing and consulting abilities.

• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

• Ability to make timely and sound decisions.

• Strong project management capabilities with experience in coordinating programs.

• Thorough knowledge of medical terminology, medical procedures, and the medical device industry.

• Outstanding customer service skills.

• Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with peers and colleagues across various organizational levels and functions.

• Capacity to coordinate and engage in multiple tasks/projects within a fast-paced environment while adhering to deadlines.

• Willingness to travel with overnight stays up to 50-75% of the time, depending on geography.
