Licensed Clinical Therapist – Full Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Deliver individual, group, family, and/or practical counseling across various settings to address the needs of clients/patients and their treatment objectives.

• Conduct intake, screening, and/or comprehensive assessment processes within the designated timeframes set by state regulatory/accreditation/agency standards.

• Identify and document diagnoses based on thorough assessments.

• Create treatment plans for clients/patients in line with state regulatory/accreditation/agency standards, ensuring they reflect individualization and adaptation based on assessment insights.

• Engage in clinical staffing/treatment meetings, offering feedback on all relevant cases.

• Accountable for fulfilling department-specific Collaborative Service Goal (CSG) requirements.

• Collaborate closely with internal departments to guarantee that authorized services receive approval and that sufficient information is provided within the required timeframes.

• Record all services rendered in accordance with state regulatory/accreditation/agency standards.

• Ensure services are documented within the appropriate timeframe and format, with notes aligned with treatment plans.

• Rectify any file/charting deficiencies within the specified timeframe.

• Support clients/patients during the transition process and finalize correspondence such as transition summaries, plans, letters, etc.

• Complete all required training, meeting state regulatory/accreditation/agency standards.

• Represent the agency professionally within the community.

• Foster positive, professional relationships with referral sources, clients/patients, and colleagues, adhering to the Code of Ethics and agency policies/procedures.

• Manage crisis situations as they occur.

• Participate in or coordinate emergency services to offer immediate assistance in crisis situations.

• Assist in providing professional/clinical supervision to trainees once all professional criteria have been fulfilled.

• Facilitate group counseling, group education, family therapy, and individual sessions, including specialized services such as trauma and co-occurring therapy.

• Offer training and guidance on clinical issues and evidence-based practices.

• Provide clinical consultation to treatment team members as needed.

• Show interest in the company's long-term and short-term goals and objectives.

• Execute other duties as assigned by leadership.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is required.

• Must hold licensure with the relevant board of professional registration for the state in which they practice as a professional counselor or social worker.

• Licensed as a Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Willingness to obtain licensure in additional states beyond the current licensing state.

• Must be comfortable providing telehealth services to clients (training will be offered).

• Proficiency in diagnostic criteria for individuals with substance use disorders and/or mental health issues.

• In-depth understanding of caseload management and rehabilitation methods, principles, and techniques related to mental health and/or substance use disorder treatment services.

• Comprehensive knowledge of the challenges encountered by individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders.

• Extensive familiarity with the methods, modalities, legal requirements, and court procedures connected to the treatment of mental health and/or substance use disorders.

• Knowledge of supervisory and training techniques and practices utilized in mental health and/or substance use disorder treatment environments.

• Ability to develop, coordinate, and assess services within assigned programs.

• Capable of reading and interpreting documents such as safety regulations, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills necessary for producing clear and concise reports.

• Ability to establish effective relationships through telephone, telehealth, and in-person interactions.

• Ability to follow directions and accept supervision.
