Principal Consultant, Strategic Advisory Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee large, intricate strategic advisory service projects, collaborating with executive-level professionals across diverse industry sectors.

• Proactively evaluate and enhance cybersecurity and incident response initiatives.

• Create innovative scenarios to assist clients in fully exercising their response capabilities.

• Generate high-quality written and verbal reports, presentations, recommendations, and findings for customer management.

• Exhibit industry thought leadership through blog contributions and public speaking engagements.

• Recognize and respond to emerging trends in the cybersecurity landscape.

• Manage internal initiatives and team dynamics.

• Involve in various sales and business development prospects.

• Assist with the staffing and scheduling of strategic resources for upcoming projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8-15 years of experience in IT/Security Management Consulting, Security Program Development, Security Analysis/Operations, Business Strategy/Risk Analysis, Cybersecurity Policy, or Public/Government Affairs.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proven capability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with a diverse range of clients and team members.

• Proficient in executing complex tasks that involve strategic analysis and development independently.

• Eagerness to enhance cyber knowledge, technical proficiency, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong project management capabilities, including the ability to juggle multiple projects at once.

• Willingness to travel to meet clients, up to 30% of the time, often with less than three weeks’ notice.

• A BA or BS degree in a relevant field, or equivalent military/work experience.
