Principal Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the strategic direction of up to four projects simultaneously, with potential growth to six through Agentic AI implementations.

• Accountable for creating solutions and establishing best practices to address client challenges using a data-driven business strategy and a top-tier AI and advanced analytics technology toolkit.

• Engage closely with clients throughout the project lifecycle to:

• Comprehend clients’ business goals and how DAS42 can fulfill them using our capabilities and technology partners.

• Develop a vision for each client and project, providing a clear roadmap for cultivating a data-driven culture and advancing AI-enabled analytics capabilities.

• Convey the value that DAS42 offers to our clients.

• Collaborate with the Sales Team to identify opportunities for expanding engagements based on client needs and feedback.

• Act as the escalation point for client technical issues and requests.

• Ensure alignment with partner account teams (such as Snowflake and Sigma) to guarantee the success of our joint customers.

• Stay informed about clients’ industries, related news, trends, challenges, and pain points to ensure our strategic guidance and solutions are rooted in both domain and industry expertise.

• Guide technical Team Leads on projects, who are tasked with overseeing the technical execution and management of individual contributors.

• Ensure delivery excellence in partnership with our Project Management and account management teams.

• Manage and mentor 2-4 Team Leads.

• Provide performance feedback, conduct reviews, and offer coaching.

• Support the development and training of team members.

• Assist in building and leading a world-class technical delivery team focused on advanced analytics and data engineering, enhanced by Agentic AI platforms.

• Institutionalize DAS42 best practices based on project experiences to create effective Agentic AI delivery processes and training materials.

• Act as an industry thought leader by utilizing blog posts, articles, speaking opportunities, and other means to promote the brand and expertise of DAS42.

⛳️ Requirements

• A strong enthusiasm for technology and a commitment to helping companies address business challenges with data and technology.

• Over 8 years of experience in the data engineering and analytics sector.

• Background in client-facing roles within a consulting or services environment.

• Demonstrated ability to resolve client challenges through data, advanced analytics, and Agentic AI platforms.

• Extensive experience managing multiple teams and leading several complex projects concurrently.

• Proven capability to build trusted relationships with both business and technical stakeholders.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience with, and/or management of technical teams utilizing data analytics programming languages such as SQL and Python.

• Familiarity with, and/or management of technical teams using BI platforms like Sigma, Looker, Tableau, or PowerBI.

• Experience with data pipeline and cloud warehousing tools such as Apache Airflow and Snowflake.

• Preferable experience with Generative and Agentic AI tools and platforms is a plus.

• BA/BS degree required, ideally in a quantitatively focused field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics). An advanced degree is a plus.
