Principal Cloud Security Architect – Azure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Become a part of a skilled team of cloud security architects to engage directly with Tamnoon’s clients.

• Assist in the triaging, prioritizing, and remediation of cloud vulnerabilities.

• Collect data and context surrounding security alerts through both automation and manual investigation.

• Collaborate closely with customer teams to address cloud security risks.

• Enhance internal knowledge by creating or updating playbooks and runbooks.

• Disseminate technical expertise to the community through blog posts, whitepapers, or other forms of thought leadership.

• Partner with Tamnoon’s engineering team to elevate overall service quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hands-on experience in deploying, configuring, and securing resources within Azure.

• Practical experience in implementing security measures in Azure.

• The capability to articulate complex technical concepts both verbally and in writing in English.

• Familiarity with Azure, including typical misconfigurations, customer challenges, and strategies for mitigating security risks.

• Extensive knowledge across two or more leading cloud providers.

• Proficient understanding of container-based applications and infrastructure (e.g., Kubernetes), preferably within Azure.

• Experience in deploying and troubleshooting cloud environments using various methods, such as console, infrastructure as code, CLI, or SDK.

• Proven experience in establishing governance and security over multiple cloud subscriptions.

• Familiarity with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) or Cloud Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP) tools, such as Wiz, Prisma, CloudGuard, Orca, CrowdStrike, Lacework, etc.

• Demonstrated ability to create, edit, and execute scripts and command-line tools using a modern high-level language (e.g., Python).

• Strong interpersonal skills to conduct meetings with customers, influence their decisions, and advocate for security.
