Principal Client Value Partner – Retail

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Translate Strategy to Operations: Assess the client's strategic objectives and align them with a long-term vision using Process Intelligence software.

• Target High-Impact Areas: Design the C-suite agenda by optimizing entire value chains, focusing on areas such as procurement operations and inventory management. Incorporate store-level anti-shrink detection, robotics, and automation to enable innovative retail concepts.

• Build the Business Case: Create comprehensive Business Cases and AI roadmaps to support organizations. Identify opportunities for general automation, Edge computing, and AI/ML pipelines across hybrid infrastructures.

• Undertake Value Assessments: Utilize extensive product knowledge as a certified Celonis Value Assessment Expert to convey value opportunities and strategic roadmaps.

• Drive Engagement Success: Lead multiple Process Improvement workstreams for transformational initiatives at Fortune 500 clients.

• Orchestrate the Ecosystem: Establish Process Mining Centers of Excellence to facilitate the deployment and operationalization of Celonis. Coordinate technical teams to conduct architecture reviews, executive workshops, demonstrations, and technical execution.

• Solve Systemic Challenges: Create custom data models, data dashboards, and automations to identify and rectify errors, while executing requirements gathering to prevent discrepancies in invoices, goods receipts, and purchase orders.

• Facilitate Workshops: Conduct process mapping workshops to identify and validate opportunities for process improvement in Supply Chain and Finance functions. Accelerate Proof of Concepts to influence business and technology decisions.

• Deliver Measurable Impact: Achieve significant P&L and Working Capital savings while automating workflows to save thousands of hours of manual effort for clients. Aim to shape technical strategy with an estimated $100M+ in customer ROI.

• Manage Architectural Risk: Conduct architectural risk reviews to confirm system direction early and minimize vulnerability exposure. Collaborate with infosec and legal teams to establish strict guidelines for AI data collection, training, privacy, and Responsible AI.

• Codify Best Practices: Develop standards for analyzing, automating, and improving business processes in a product-agnostic way. Streamline deployments using CI/CD and infrastructure automation concepts.

• Build Strategic Partnerships: Forge valuable partnerships with various process-oriented firms to assist clients with data preparation, system migration, data warehousing, and process mining use case requirements.

• Innovate & Enable: Release internally developed applications to help customers determine appropriate inventory levels and take corrective measures. Drive innovation through IoT, computer vision, and experimental GPUs.

• Expand Global Footprint: Oversee multi-year regional deployments supporting various countries and languages for multinational clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Deep Industry Experience: Over 15 years of relevant experience in designing and operationalizing large-scale platforms, ideally with a background in a global Retail, Logistics, or Supply Chain-intensive company coupled with Strategy Consulting. You have a proven history of delivering solutions for major enterprises.

• Consulting Leadership: Demonstrated progression in consulting, with experience in roles such as Consultant, Senior Consultant, Manager, Director, or Vice President.

• Value Realization Skills: Proven track record of driving large-scale transformation programs. You understand how to impact P&L through inventory optimization, logistics efficiency, and cash flow improvement.

• Domain Expertise: Experience managing multi-year deployments for multinational CPG clients, alongside a deep understanding of accounts payable and procurement operations.

• Technical Fluency: Knowledge of the modern supply chain stack (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, TMS/WMS systems) and the ability to translate Celonis use cases into the specific business landscape of the customer.

• Stakeholder Management: Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with proven experience collaborating closely with application owners, server owners, managed service providers, and business leadership.
