This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Enhance total ownership costs and manage supplier risks.
• Execute the category management process, which includes spend analytics, strategy formulation, negotiations, and partner collaboration.
• Strategize, align, and collaborate with partners to achieve savings for both annual and multi-year objectives, as well as Average Payment Terms (APT) and expenditure strategies for designated categories.
• Oversee spending through competitive assessments, leverage creation, and professional negotiations to obtain optimal cost, quality, and service.
• Utilize tools and methodologies for profiling, benchmarking, and researching supply chain risks and trends.
• Identify the budget/demand of partners for category management sourcing strategies.
• Collect feedback from partners via Voice of the Customer (VOC) satisfaction surveys.
• Develop and execute the Operating Management System (OMS).
• Collaborate with the Operational Pillar (Buyers) and the Commercial Indirect Pillar (Indirect Sourcing Leads) to ensure the successful implementation of agreed category strategies.
• Lead RFP/RFQ submissions and analyses, supplier evaluations, qualifications, selections, development, contract formulation, and negotiations, including master service agreements.
• Execute supplier relationship management, including monitoring service level agreements and KPIs.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with preferred suppliers and oversee action plans.
• Enhance the company's financial performance through sourcing initiatives, supplier communications, quality improvements, payment term negotiations, value stream mapping, supply chain optimization, and continuous improvement projects with suppliers.
• Aid and implement change management initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to export control regulations as per corporate procedures.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in supply chain management.
• 2-3 years of experience in sourcing and/or category management.
• Proven experience in leading supplier evaluations, selections, negotiations, contracting, and implementations.
• Familiarity with contractual terms and conditions (e.g., indemnification, intellectual property, force majeure).
• Preference for candidates with global category management experience.
• Experience with Systems and Cost Savings Tracking Systems (Wave) is a plus.
