This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland, +1 more country.
• Conduct exploratory analyses of clinical trial data utilizing interactive R/Shiny applications.
• Prepare, integrate, and verify the quality of clinical datasets for subsequent exploratory analyses.
• Detect trends, safety signals, efficacy patterns, subgroup variations, and data quality concerns via interactive visualization.
• Facilitate data review sessions and exploratory analysis discussions.
• Convert complex statistical findings into clear visual narratives that aid clinical decision-making.
• Collaborate with clinicians, statisticians, programmers, and R application developers to establish analytical requirements and prioritize features for applications.
• Create reproducible analytical workflows and reports leveraging modern R tools.
• Contribute to enhancements, report bugs, and submit feature requests to improve the application ecosystem.
• Provide training and support for users of internally developed analytical applications.
• Keep abreast of emerging analytical methodologies and visualization techniques within the R ecosystem.
• Industry experience as a Biostatistician utilizing R.
• Familiarity with Shiny applications.
• MS or PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience in supporting clinical development within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO sectors.
• Strong grasp of clinical trial design, statistical methodologies, and clinical data standards.
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
• Strong skills in collaboration and stakeholder management.
• Capability to excel in a Dynamic Shared Ownership (DSO) environment.
• Proficiency in English.
• Located in Europe.
• Solid understanding of SDTM and ADaM datasets.
• Experience in conducting exploratory analyses of efficacy and safety data.
• Knowledge of statistical methodologies employed throughout clinical development.
• Experience in interpreting and communicating statistical results.
• Advanced skills in R programming.
• Proficient in data manipulation and transformation.
• Familiarity with reproducible analytical workflows.
• Experience with tools such as shiny, plotly, ggplot2, dplyr, tidyr, purr, gt, gtsummary, and reactable.
• Proficient in creating and presenting interactive visualizations.
• Experience using Quarto or RMarkdown.
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
• Ability to produce reproducible reporting.
• Conduct quality control of analytical datasets.
• Engage in collaborative analytical workflows.
