
Principal Attorney, Labor & Employment Law

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver strategic and practical legal counsel to HR and business leaders on a wide array of employment law matters and disputes.
• Offer legal updates, guidance, and training on relevant federal and state regulations and statutes.
• Keep abreast of federal and state labor and employment laws and related developments.
• Draft and review employment agreements, separation agreements, notices, policies, and other employment-related documents.
• Supervise employment-related certifications mandated by clients and federal and state agencies.
• Manage employment disputes and litigation, including assessing liability exposure and formulating strategies.
• Oversee external counsel and coordinate witness interviews and document production.
• Attend depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials as necessary.
• Execute other responsibilities as required.
• Juris Doctorate with outstanding academic credentials from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 5+ years of experience in employment law counseling and litigation.
• Proficient understanding of U.S. federal and state employment laws and regulations.
• Capability to collaborate and offer proactive and practical legal advice.
• Experience managing administrative charge and/or employment litigation cases.
• Strong legal analysis and research abilities.
• Skill in anticipating and evaluating potential legal risks.
• Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and capacity to multitask.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience as in-house counsel is preferred.
• Familiarity with Indian employment laws and regulations is an advantage.
