Principal Architect, Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with our clients to comprehend their requirements and technical challenges.

• Utilize this feedback to create solutions employing cloud technologies and promote the value of your solution to the client team.

• Work alongside clients to formulate estimates regarding the necessary skills and timelines for delivering Zencore projects.

• Transform these estimates into a clear proposal or Statement of Work (SoW).

• Serve as the lead technical member of the project team, ensuring delivery and providing technical oversight.

• Maintain the technical delivery schedule and resolve any blocks that arise.

• Although this position focuses on architecture, we expect you to be an active practitioner; you should be adept at both architecture and execution.

• Mentor within the engineering organizations.

• Be recognized as an expert in your technical field, capable of teaching and enabling others to enhance the organization's skills.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

• Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud-native architectures based on contemporary SRE principles and best practices.

• Hands-on experience with a major public cloud platform in a production environment, preferably GCP.

• Familiarity with common DevSecOps practices and tools.

• Ability to delve deeper into one or more domains—Software Architecture, Tooling/Pipelines/DevSecOps, Kubernetes, Databases, and/or Networking.

• Quick learning ability, with a strong understanding of and adaptability to new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in Cloud, DevSecOps, and Software Development.

• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and engaging in complex projects.

• Excellent communication skills; capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• At ease with being on video during meetings, both internally and with clients.
