Principal Architect – Digital Risk and Resilience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Oversee the enterprise-level integration of Digital Risk Management in collaboration with partners from Cybersecurity and Digital Risk, Digital Technology, and various business units.

• Create, implement, and enhance capabilities for monitoring, visibility, and readiness in response.

• Develop and refine the enterprise resilience program by establishing key resilience indicators.

• Formulate practical models, methods, and frameworks to assess systemic digital risk.

• Enhance risk prioritization and decision-making at scale by collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Evaluate and incorporate emerging systemic risk factors into enterprise governance, resilience planning, and risk management processes.

• Execute structured failure simulations and systemic stress tests to evaluate resilience.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering, Risk Management, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, digital risk, operational resilience, business continuity, technology risk, or related fields.

• Proficiency in applying governance, risk, and compliance principles along with enterprise risk management practices.

• Understanding of concepts related to digital resilience, operational resilience, and business continuity.

• Familiarity with relevant technology domains such as cloud computing, software development, data platforms, identity management, infrastructure, integrations, and security architecture principles.

• Competence in developing practical risk and resiliency models.

• Experience in designing or operationalizing monitoring, metrics, or governance frameworks.

• Strong skills in problem-solving, critical thinking, interpersonal relations, collaboration, as well as written and verbal communication.

• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States for any employer without the need for sponsorship.
