This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Define and implement strategies for modernizing applications on legacy platforms and enhancing user experiences.
• Design and advocate for architectures that prioritize API-first, microservices-first, and event-driven approaches.
• Provide architectural guidance and mentorship to Team Leads and engineering teams.
• Assess current systems to develop migration strategies, risk evaluations, and target architectures.
• Collaborate with clients and business leaders; confidently present proposals and negotiate technical strategies with challenging stakeholders.
• Establish and advocate for enterprise-wide architecture standards, best practices, and governance processes.
• Support integration efforts involving legacy ESBs and contemporary integration platforms.
• 7+ years of experience in Telecom, Contact Center, Customer Experience (CX), or similar large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in successfully transitioning legacy systems to modern, cloud-native architectures.
• Deep technical mastery in:
• API-first architecture principles
• Microservices patterns
• Event-driven and distributed systems
• Cloud proficiency: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure, or GCP). A cloud certification is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with modern frontend and user experience (UX) frameworks to ensure seamless end-to-end solutions.
• TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification is a plus.
• Practical experience with Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) platforms.
• Extensive knowledge of contact center technologies and customer engagement software.
