Principal Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish and govern end-state application architectures, including microservices design, API strategy, data models, integration patterns, and the platform and automation layers that facilitate continuous delivery from development to production.

• Oversee application architecture evaluations, design approvals, and code-level technical discussions with engineering teams and client stakeholders.

• Promote technical excellence among engineering teams.

• Work collaboratively with business, product, engineering, and operations teams to outline requirements, integration strategies, and scalable, reusable application and platform solutions.

• Manage cross-workstream architectural alignment on large-scale programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related engineering or technical discipline, along with three (3) years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or similar technical roles.

• Over 10 years of experience in an Architect role, leading the design, development, and management of distributed, cloud-smart applications and enterprise platforms.

• More than 4 years of experience with various cloud platforms, including Amazon Web Services, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Strong expertise in modern application frameworks and backend development in languages such as Python, Go, Java, C#, or JavaScript/Node.js.

• Practical experience with containerization and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift) and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi).
