📋 Description

• Oversee teams of System and Solution Architects

• Manage the operation of Digital platforms and services that enhance digital experiences and technology platform development

• Offer strategic guidance and advice to cloud infrastructure and DevSecOps solutions teams

• Direct Solutions and Systems architecture across digital marketing, sales, websites, mobile applications, and omnichannel communications

• Convert business requirements into technical systems solutions

• Integrate hardware, software, and network interfaces into comprehensive systems

• Develop and implement segment- or enterprise-wide functional strategies in collaboration with senior executives

• Lead the creation of a scalable, portable, and resilient cloud platform ecosystem for Humana's digital transformation

• Establish strategies for automation, self-service, and consistent cloud adoption and implementation

• Create reusable design patterns and solutions that support privacy, security, and compliance governance

• Set up unified technology intake and onboarding processes

• Spearhead architecture and adoption of AI, ML, and Gen AI technologies for personalized digital experiences

• Lead architecture center-of-practice initiatives across Sales, Marketing, and Digital

• Collaborate with IT partners on delivery, quality, scalable approaches, and front-end technology implementation

• Design digital experiences utilizing MACH principles and technologies including HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Vue.js, Angular, React.js, Java, .NET, Node.js, Python, and various relational, document, vector, and graph databases

• Serve as a subject matter expert in usability and interface design

• Design, develop, and maintain Humana's network and integrated application systems

• Create secure web and mobile experiences for enterprise portals

• Architect enterprise website search utilizing AI and ML techniques

• Ensure all third-party library integrations comply with Humana's standards for security, privacy, performance, accessibility, Section 508, and ADA compliance

• Develop a dependency management program for web development libraries

• Ensure that architectural decisions are in alignment with strategy and standards, and identify and communicate any deviations

• Set the technology strategy to achieve corporate objectives

• Guide architects in the design and configuration of technical systems and application architecture throughout the Healthcare Ecosystem

• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and other segments regarding enterprise IT standards and frameworks

• Independently make technical approach decisions and influence enterprise strategy

• Develop and maintain technology roadmaps alongside business leaders

• Foster an inclusive, supportive, and inquisitive team culture

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or over 10 years of management experience in a related IT field

• At least 10 years of progressive experience in information technology directly related to architecture/engineering, information security, or another specialized technology area

• 5 or more years of experience in project and people leadership

• 3 to 5 years of experience with Cloud Computing and relevant certifications in Cloud Technologies

• 5 or more years of experience with platform implementation and transformation

• Extensive technology experience across cloud architecture, digital marketing, NoSQL/SQL databases, event streaming, analytics, machine learning, networking, security, storage, DevSecOps, containers, serverless, CI/CD, management and monitoring, cloud migrations, and digital transformation

• Experience in designing and implementing complex IT solutions, including scalable cloud-based systems

• Familiarity with large enterprise-level systems and managing data at scale

• Experience working with multiple public cloud providers

• Experience in architecting cloud-native solutions or migrating on-premises solutions to the cloud

• Willingness to adapt to different Digital Channel areas as assignments necessitate

• Previous technical leadership experience with Lead and Senior Architects

• Understanding of common architectural patterns and design principles

• Strong technical foundation in architectural patterns related to Digital Experience Strategy

• Experience in leading organizational change

• Proven track record in developing large-scale systems for enterprise strategic initiatives

• Excellent communication skills for delivering presentations to senior executives, architects, developers, and other stakeholders

• A passion for continuously enhancing consumer experiences

• Prior experience in developing software for enterprise applications and digital websites

• Preferred: Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field

• Preferred: Cloud Solutions Architect certification(s) with major Cloud Service Providers, with Azure being preferred

• Preferred: Experience with Adobe and Akamai web content and publishing services

• Preferred: Experience with agile development methodologies and practices

• Preferred: Experience in creating personalized experiences using modular and flexible web and mobile architectures
