This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Develop and implement the architectural strategy for Managed and Professional Services.
• Foster scalable solutions that align with the needs, vision, and strategy of GDT clients.
• Design bespoke solutions when necessary.
• Integrate business, technology, and IT strategy while balancing the immediate and future needs of clients.
• Connect data, networks, services, tools, and other solution components through a comprehensive approach.
• Offer advice, direction, and authorization for significant plans and procedures.
• Assist GDT clients in managing their enterprise infrastructure and platforms.
• Maintain the solutions of GDT clients, including data, networks, services, and tools.
• Oversee, enhance, and update enterprise technologies, capabilities, tooling, hardware, software, and licensing.
• Evaluate legacy systems for optimization, modernization, and alignment with current and future business strategies.
• Identify the operational and process requirements of clients across the organization.
• Provide financial and operational improvement metrics that showcase business outcomes and impacts.
• Conduct goal setting, interim evaluations, and year-end appraisals within the performance management framework.
• Supervise and offer technical guidance to fellow GDT architects.
• Prepare and deliver presentations of solutions to all tiers of client leadership, including C-Suite executives.
• Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Security, or equivalent experience.
• Strong expertise in IT and technology encompassing network, collaboration, data center, cloud, security, and CX domains.
• Subject matter proficiency in two or more technology areas along with a broad understanding of additional fields.
• Extensive knowledge of various industries or verticals gained through experience.
• Proven experience in enterprise architecture, combining communication, analytical, leadership, teamwork, and complex problem-solving skills.
• Capability to convert business, financial, and technical client strategies into optimal, efficient, scalable, and measurable solutions.
• Proficient in delivering end-to-end solutions that meet business requirements and yield objective outcomes.
• Ability to address solution challenges throughout the solutioning and pursuit lifecycle.
• Demonstrated experience in supervising and providing technical mentorship to other architects.
• Experience in preparing and presenting solutions to client leadership, including C-Suite executives.
• A range of OEM and industry certifications at entry-level, professional, specialist, and expert levels across various vendors and technologies.
• Examples of certifications include Cisco CCNA/CCNP/CCDP/CCIE/CCDE, NetApp NCTA/NCDA/NCSE/NCHCA, Fortinet NSE 1–8, Juniper JNCIA/JNCIP/JNCIS, ISC² certifications, EXIN ITIL, and TOGAF.
