Remotery

Principal Architect

Posted May 20

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Facilitate workshops aimed at breaking down outdated procurement workflows and pinpointing where **Coupa Agents** (whether native or custom) can yield the greatest return on investment.

• Assist clients in determining the "where" and "how" for agent deployment, distinguishing which processes should operate fully autonomously versus those requiring human intervention.

• Establish future-state metrics (KPIs) that the AI transformation must achieve, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives at the board level.

• Assess the customer's **AI Readiness** through three key perspectives: **Culture** (the willingness to trust agents), **Data** (ensuring the intelligence layer is adequately supported), and **Process** (verifying if workflows are "agent-ready").

• Proactively identify internal policy or workforce challenges and collaborate with leadership to address them effectively.

• Provide guidance on workforce transitions, which may include the establishment of **AI Centers of Excellence (COE)** and the retraining of employees to manage an "AI Workforce."

• Advise clients on revising internal governance to permit autonomous agent activities (e.g., automated contract redlining or tail-spend negotiations).

• Serve as the "Tone Setter" for the technical team, where you articulate the *Vision* and the **Agentic Architect** focuses on the *Build*.

• Connect the customer's long-term transformation aspirations with the Coupa Product Roadmap, ensuring the client remains at the forefront of innovation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Comprehensive understanding of the GenAI and Agentic AI landscape (including LLMs, RAG, and autonomous agents). It is essential to grasp what agents *can* and *cannot* accomplish currently.

• Professional proficiency in Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes. Understanding "Legacy" pain points is crucial to designing the "Agentic" solution.

• Ability to communicate fluently with the C-Suite to secure buy-in for the AI vision while also collaborating with functional leads to align that vision with daily S2P workflows.

• Over 10 years of experience in leading extensive, cross-functional digital transformation projects at the Enterprise level.

• Prior experience with the Coupa platform is advantageous, yet we prioritize **Agent-First Thinking** over familiarity with the platform.

• Background in Tier-1 management consulting or managing substantial digital transformation initiatives.

🏝️ Benefits

• Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI solutions in a dynamic environment.

• Collaborate with talented professionals across various disciplines.

• Competitive compensation and benefits package.

• Professional development opportunities to advance your career.
